Q:
Can't sign in to Google Apps Mail in a private domain
Since upgrading to 10.9.5 (13C53) I can't log in to my Google Apps email account. It gives me the red screen error when signing in. There doesn't seem to be any log files in my ~/Library/Logs folder. Any ideas how I can debug this?
I've tried resetting my password, and it's still not working.
A:
This error usually means that the key used to sign the email was compromised, so you'd need to enable the Advanced Recovery Mode, delete your mailbox and start a new one, or go to your Google account and revoke the compromised key.
Having said that, it's more likely that this is a bug in Gmail's code. Google Apps administrators, do note that you might have a bug in your Google Apps configuration and that you might have an SPF problem, as it's possible that the requests to your email server are going to a server that doesn't allow the sending of SPF.
So, to help you diagnose the issue, I'd recommend you to have a look at the relevant posts in the Google Apps Support forum, and in particular at this one: Google Apps: “The code signed for this domain cannot be used with this account”.
In many ways, the modern world is defined by a never-ending game of one-upmanship, and there’s a reason we obsess over tiny gadgets, apps, and smart cars. The competition for the most ridiculous version of something is fun be359ba680
